Summary: Is Your Lower Back Pain Keeping You From Enjoying Life?
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a
once a week medication for the treatment of lower back pain.
To qualify for the study you must be at least 18 years of age
and have been diagnosed with low back pain for at least 3 months
prior to the study. The study requires that participants must
currently be taking opiod medication such as Vicodin, Lortab,
hydrocodone, Darvocet, Percocet, oxycodone, or Oxycontin
specifically for low back pain. Volunteers who qualify will receive
study medications, lab tests, and study-related medical exams at no
charge. Participants will also be compensated for time and travel
associated with the study.
