Summary: Adult & children with Focal Segemental Glomerulosclerosis are needed for research study.

UVa Health System, Department of Nephrology seeks adults and children with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis for a research study.

The purpose of the study is to compare the effectiveness of 2 experimental treatment regimens in treating focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. Subjects in both groups will be required to take an ACE inhibitor and low-dose prednisone. There will be a total of 18 visits that last about 2 hours each. Study-related procedures and medicines are provided at no cost to the participant. There will be no compensation for this study.
