Trial Information

Summary: Children with Chronic Renal Insufficience diagnosed on or after 01011994 are needed for research study

University of Virginia Health System's Department of Pediatric Nephrology seeks children with Chronic Renal Insufficiency for a research study. To qualify, children must have been diagnosed on or after January 1, 1994 and should be less than 18 years old.

The purpose of the study is to establish a database of information from pediatric patients with renal insufficiency. The information from the database will be used in a variety of future research projects. Participants will be asked to sign a consent allowing the study team to record information from the patients medical record into the research database. The consent form will list exactly what information from the medical record is being collected for research. In addition, information will be collected from the routine office visits that occur twice a year. No compensation. Contact Joanna Dabney at 434-924-2498, or at jld6p@virgina.edu for more information.
