Trial Information
Summary: Do you have a fear of flying and live within commuting distance of New York City?
We are doing a study to help people with these fears.
Do you drive long distances or miss important events because of
your fear of flying? If your fear or avoidance of flying interferes
with your day-to-day activities, you may be suffering from a
phobia.
The purpose of our study is to see if medication is helpful in
people with a fear of flying. We are offering free evaluation and
research treatment to eligible individuals.
Eligibility for participation in the study
requires:
- Flying phobia
- Ages 18-65 years old
- Willingness to commute to our center on a regular basis for 12
weeks
- Physically healthy without any major medical problems
