Trial Information

Summary: This is a phase 2 Rheumatoid Arthritis Study of patients on a stable dose of Methotrexate. Subjects will receive study medication.

This is a phase 2, in which the patient, doctor and study coordinator will not know what dose of medication is being taken. There will be 9 study visits over a 9 month period, with blood testing.

Study Criteria:

• Subjects must have active Rheumatoid Arthritis consisting of 6 or more swollen and 6 or more tender joints using a 28 joint count.
• Have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for at least 6 months.
• Be Male or Female age 18 to 80 years of age.
• Subjects will be excluded if they have had cancer, or a history of cancer other than basal or squamous cell carcinoma within 5 years before screening visit.
• Autoimmune or connective tissue disorder other than Rheumatoid Arthritis.
