Summary: Osteoarthritis of the Knee (patch)
Osteoarthritis can cause pain and disability with poor quality
of life. The knee is the most common site of osteoarthritis. The
physicians at Tampa Bay Medical Research are seeking volunteers 40
years of age and older to participate in a research study involving
an investigational topical medication for the
treatment of Osteoarthritis of the knee. You must be taking some
type of non-steroidal-anti-inflammatory medications, or
Acetominophen for at least 20 days during the last month for OA of
the Knee.
Qualified participants may receive:
- Study-related physical exams.
- Medication and procedures.
- Laboratory testing.
- Compensation for time and travel.
