Summary: Do You Have Crohn's Disease? Have You Received Infliximab (Remicade) Therapy?
Dr. Barry P. Kaufman and Atlantic Gastroenterology Associates
are conducting a clinical Research trial to test the safety and
effectiveness of an injectable investigational medication in
patients with active moderate to severe Crohn's disease who
have lost response to or are intolerant to Infliximab (Remicade).
Your participation in this study would last for up to 6 weeks with
the opportunity to enter another study where you will receive
active study medication. While in this study, you will receive
physical exams, blood tests and tests for your disease, free of
charge.
Subjects who are eligible to participate in this
clinical trial include the following:
- Men or women between the ages of 18 and 75.
- Diagnosis of Crohn's disease confirmed by an endoscopy or
radiologic evidence.
- Women cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Subjects must have previously received Infliximab (Remicade)
therapy.
