Trial Information
Summary: A study to test the safety and efficacy of an investigational drug to treat “pink eye” (acute bacterial conjunctivitis).
Inclusion Criteria:
- Patient must be at least 1 year old
Patient must have the following symptoms for 3 days or
less:
- Redness in the eye
- Pus-like discharge from the eye.
- Patient must be available for 3 clinic visits.
Benefits to the participants:
- Free study related eye exams.
- Investigational medication or a dummy (control)
medication.
- Financial compensation for completed visits.
