Summary: Leg pain when walking.
Do you have pain when walking? If you have pain or weakness in
your calves, buttocks, or thighs during walking that goes away only
after resting you may have Intermittent Claudication.
Tampa Bay Medical Research is participating in a nationwide
clinical research study for subjects with Intermittent
Claudication.
Intermittent Claudication affects an estimated 4 million people,
most over the age of 50, and is one of the first symptoms of
peripheral artery disease, a serious medical condition, also known
as "hardening of the arteries" of the legs.
If you or someone you know has these symptoms, call for more
study details.
Benefits of participating include study related physical exams, lab
work, & study medication.
Compensation is available for time and travel.
