Trial Information
Summary: Volunteers with High Blood Pressure are needed.
Are you 45 years of age or older?
Do you have high blood pressure despite treatment?
If you answered "yes" to both of these questions, you
may qualify to participate in a nationwide research study of an
investigational medication to lower systolic blood pressure (a
condition called systolic hypertension). Systolic hypertension is
the most common form of high blood pressure in individuals over age
50, and the type least likely to be well treated.
Qualified participants will receive
study-related:
- Medications.
- Physical exams.
- Blood pressure monitoring.
- EKGs.
- Routine Labs.
- Compensation for time and travel.
A home blood pressure monitoring device will be provided to
study participants.
