Summary: Cervical cancer?
Each year over 500,000 women around the world are diagnosed with
cervical cancer. Philadelphia Women's Research is participating
in a four-year worldwide study using an investigational cervical
cancer vaccine. The vaccine is intended to offer protection against
viruses that cause cervical cancer.
In order to qualify, you must:
- Be between ages 15 and 25.
- Not have had a colposcopy or surgery of the cervix.
- Be in good health.
Study participants receive:
- Pap smears at no cost.
- Vaccine at no cost.
- Compensation for time and travel.
