Trial Information
Summary: Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator- heart rhythm abnormalities
Long Island Jewish Medical Center is currently conducting a
research study for adults who require an Implantable Cardioverter
Defibrillator (ICD) for the treatment of heart rhythm
abnormalities.
Any additional tests required as part of the study will be done
at no cost to you. The cost of the implant surgery and any other
routine medical costs will be your responsibility.
To qualify, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Not have had an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator)
previously.
