Trial Information
Summary: Does your teen have panic attacks?
For no clear reason, does your teen often:
- Have chest pain or a racing heart?
- Have trouble breathing or feel like he or she is choking?
- Break out in a sweat, or have chills, or hot flashes?
- Tremble and shake, or have numbness or tingling feelings?
- Have a fear of dying, of losing control, or "going
crazy"?
- Feel sick to the stomach, dizzy, or light-headed?
- Feel distant or numb -- as if things are not real?
If this sounds like your teen, you can do something
about it. A healthcare company is looking for teens to
take part in a clinical research study of anxiety and panic
disorder. The study will find out if a new investigational drug can
help.
Millions of teens suffer from anxiety and panic. These disorders
can get in the way of a young person's schoolwork and social
life. That's why this study may help teens and their loved ones
to live happier and fuller lives.
All teens in the study must be 13-17 years of age.
To learn more about the study and how your teen can take part,
