Summary: Anemia - Chronic kidney disease

Amgen, Inc. is currently recruiting subjects to participate in an experimental study for treating anemia related to chronic kidney disease.

Study drug and procedures will be made available to you at no cost. Compensation will be provided for travel expenses.

To qualify, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a history of type 2 diabetes

You will not qualify if you:

• Are anticipating or scheduled to have a kidney transplant or a prior recipient of a kidney transplant
• Have uncontrolled high blood pressure
• Have had major surgery within 12 weeks of the start of the study
• Are HIV positive
• Are currently receiving systemic chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy
• Are pregnant or breast-feeding
