Summary: Do you have schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder?

This is a study for male and female volunteers 18-70 years old who have been diagnosed with either schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. Qualified volunteers will receive compensation of $45.00 for each Inpatient stay in the hospital and $50.00 for each Outpatient visit to the clinic. The total compensation will depend on the level of involvement in the study.

Length of study: A 4-week study

Inpatient (length of hospital stay): A minimum of 14 days but can also be up to 28 days if subject does not meet discharge criteria.

Total number of outpatient visits: 2 Outpatient visits if subject is discharged from the hospital after Day 14.
