Summary: Research study for patients with Alzheimer's Disease, mild cognitive impairment, and healthy subjects.

Comparison of serum and cerebrospinal fluid pyruvate concentrations in subjects with Alzheimer's Disease, mild cognitive impairment, and healthy subjects. Qualified volunteers will receive compensation up to $720 depending on the level of involvement.

Inclusion Criteria: Alzheimer's Disease, mild cognitive impairment, and healthy subjects 60 to 90 years of age meeting inclusion and exclusion criteria

Length of study: up to 37 days

Inpatient (length of hospital stay): 1 night

Total number of outpatient visits: 2 (1 clinic, 1 telephone)
