Trial Information

Summary: Attention Parents! If your child suffers from asthma, there might be something more you can do.

Did you know that asthma is responsible for more than 500,000 hospital visits each year? Asthma can interfere with your child's daily activities. For children, asthma attacks are bothersome and can dramatically affect their ability to lead a normal, active life.

Our doctors are conducting a research study using a new medication for children with asthma. This medication is already approved for use in ages greater than 12 years old.

Your child may qualify to participate in this study if he or she:

  • Is between 6 and 12 years old
  • Has had asthma for at least 1 year
  • Is taking asthma medications such as inhaled steroids
  • Has in the past 2 years, had an asthma attach requiring treatment, or has been admitted to the hospital or ER for asthma

If qualified, your child will be provided with all study-related care, including doctor visits, laboratory testing, and investigational medication at no cost to you. You may also be compensated for your time.

Remember...
Don't let asthma control your child's life; call us, and take an active part in controlling your child's asthma.
