Trial Information
Summary: Stanford University Bipolar Disorders Clinic: Depakote ER in Bipolar Depression
Depakote has become an established treatment for the many
manifestations of bipolar disorder, and preliminary data suggest
that Depakote has potential efficacy in the treatment of depressive
symptoms. In this study, after an initial evaluation, patients will
receive Depakote ER for 8 weeks while monitored by a psychiatrist,
using clinical and laboratory measures.
