Summary: A Pilot Study to Determine the Reliability of Telomerase RNA Detection in the Expressed Prostatic Secretion of Men Undergoing Prostatic Biopsy in Confirming Cancer Diagnosis

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you are going to be undergoing evaluation for the presence of prostate cancer. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the use of Expressed Prostatic Secretion (EPS) and post prostatic massage voided urine telomerase and methylation for the detection of prostate cancer. Participation in this study involves a one-time collection of EPS.
