Summary: Volunteers Needed for HIV Research Study.
Researchers with the University of Kentucky College of Medicine,
Department of Neurology, are recruiting volunteers for a research
study that will evaluate an experimental high concentration
capsaicin patch in order to find the best dose for treatment of
HIV/neuropathy.
You may be able to participate if you:
- are 18 years of age or older;
- have been diagnosed with HIV associated distal symmetrical
neuropathy (HIV/neuropathy) and you are experiencing pain; and
- are willing to commit to a 53 week study.
Qualified participants will receive, at no cost, study-related
lab tests and medication.
