Summary: Children 6 months-3 years old wanted for ear study

Pediatric Associates, PLC and the Department of Pediatrics
at the University of Virginia Health System are conducting an observational study of ear infections during colds in normal children ages 6 months through 3 years.

Study includes:

· Normal ear exam including a photo of the tympanic membrane every two weeks until a new cold begins; then daily (if possible) during the cold (up to 10 visits);

· Two nasal samples for virus during the cold

Study location:

Pediatric Associates, PLC, 1011 E. Jefferson Street
Charlottesville, VA (Dr. Carlos Armengol)

Compensation:

$25 per visit for time and inconvenience
