Summary: Do you suffer with chronic pain due to shingles?
Alpine Clinical Research Center in Boulder is conducting a
research study for individuals 18 to 80 years of age to evaluate
the effectiveness of an investigational medication for
post-herpetic neuralgia. Post-herpetic neuralgia is defined as pain
that lasts longer than 1 month after an acute attack of herpes
zoster (shingles).
All study related medication and tests will be provided at no
cost to you. This is a five week study requiring six visits to the
research clinic. You will be compensated up to $250 for your time
and travel expenses.
