Summary: Poorly controlled type 2 diabetics who are on a combination of 2 oral diabetic medications.

Study Description
Phase III trial comparing investigational inhaled insulin to oral diabetic agents inpatients with type 2 diabetes, poorly controlled on a combination of 2 oral diabetic medications.

Study Criteria

  • Male or Female between the ages of 18 - 80, diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at least 6 months prior to study entry.
  • On a stable dose of 2 oral diabetic medications.
  • Not on insulin, Avandia or Actos.
  • Non smoker for at least 6 months prior to screening.
