Trial Information
Summary: Urinary Incontinence Study
"Like a lot of basically healthy women, I suffer from
incontinence…
You know, that embarrassing leakage of urine that occurs when
lifting groceries or coughing too hard, or having to put on an
extra pad before physical activities.
I didn’t want to bother my doctor with my problem. I figured it
was part of getting older, and to tell you the truth, I was a
little embarrassed to talk about it. Then a friend told me she has
the same problem, and is participating in a research study of an
oral study medication for stress urinary incontinence. That’s when
you leak [urine] during physical activity such as laughing,
coughing or exercising. I thought, maybe there is something my
doctor can do for me..."
If you experience symptoms of stress urinary incontinence, you
may be eligible for this research study. Qualified participants
receive all study-related care [at no charge], including:
- Doctor visits
- Laboratory services
- Study medication
