Summary: A clinical research comparing the investigational use of an oral marketed drug to placebo for the treatment of moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis.
Purpose:
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of multiple
doses of the study drug to placebo in the treatment of chronic
plaque psoriasis.
Study Design:
All qualified study participants will be asked to complete 14
office visits over approximately 56 weeks in this Phase III study.
All qualified participants will receive the study drug for at least
26 weeks of the 52-wekk treatment period. Some participants will
receive the study drug for the entire 52-week treatment period.
All office visits, medical evaluations, and study medications
related to this study will be provided to patients at no
charge.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Men and women, 18 to 75 years of age
- Diagnosed with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis
- Not currently pregnant or nursing
Individuals with scalp psoriasis only, palmar psoriasis only, or
plantar psoriasis only are not eligible for this study.
