Summary: A Phase III, Multicenter, Randomized,Double-Blind,Placebo-Controlled Study to Assess Efficacy and Safety of Cevimeline in the Treatment of Xerostomia Secondary to Radiation Therapy for Cancer in the Head and Neck Region
This study is for patients who have received radiation therapy
for the treatment of cancer of head and neck. It is designed to
evaluate the use of a drug, cevimeline, in patients with dry mouth
(xerostomia).

Patient Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:
Dry mouth
Age >18 years
Not pregnant
History of radiation therapy to head and neck
History of Cevimeline use
History of significant heart, lung, kidney and liver problems
History of glaucoma or iritis
History of Sjogren's syndrome
