Summary: Hypercholesterolemia in South Asian Subjects
The Diabetes-Endocrinology Center of WNY at Millard Fillmore
Hospital, under the direction of Dr. Paresh Dandona is conducting a
new research study with the investigational medication
Rosuvastatin. The primary purpose of this research study is to
evaluate the safety and efficacy of the use of Rosuvastatin by
South Asian subjects for the treatment of high cholesterol with
that of Atorvastatin, a medication currently available and approved
by the FDA. The length of this study is between 12 and 24
weeks.
All study related diagnostic testing and exams will be of no
cost to you. Compensation for time and travel along with free
parking will be provided.
If you are at least 18 years of age, South Asian (origin India,
Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka) and have hypercholesterolemia
