Summary: Male and female volunteers needed for skin study
The Stanford University Department of Dermatology is recruiting
adult men and women with stasis dermatitis to participate in a
research study to test a medicine for this condition. The study
will last six weeks and includes five clinic visits. Eligible
patients will be paid $100.00 after the completion of the study
visits.
To be eligible you must be:
- Male or female over the age of 18
- Diagnosed with mild to moderate stasis dermatitis
- If female, practice effective birth control
- Willing to forgo new therapy directed treatment of your legs
during the course of the study
- Willing to participate for six weeks
You must not be/have:
- Used immunosuppressive medication 3 weeks prior to enrolling in
the study or during the study
- Pregnant or nursing
- Using steroid therapy within 30 days prior to starting study
medication
- Uncontrolled Diabetes
- Used a topical steroid on your legs within 2 weeks prior to
starting study medication
Interested individuals will be screened by telephone to
determine eligibility.
