Summary: A Survey of the Sexual Functioning of Orthodox Women
This study examines the sexual life in marriage among observant
Jewish women. The goal of the study is to gain a better
undertsanding of sexual attitudes and practices. We believe that
such knowledge can inform premarital education classes as well as
being very useful for medical, mental health, and rabbinic
professionals who treat and counsel observant women.

Patient Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:
All Jewish women who self-identify as religiously observant. For
the purpose of this study, religious observance is defined as
observing the custom of ritual immersion.
Persons who do not observe the Jewish custom of ritual immersion
will be excluded from this study.
