Summary: Study for high risk recurrence of renal cell carcinoma after surgical treatment

A Multicenter, Randomized Phase III Study of Adjuvant OncophageŽ Versus Observation in Patients with High Risk of Recurrence After Surgical Treatment for Renal Cell Carcinoma.

You may be eligible to participate in this research study if you:

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have renal cell cancer that can be surgically removed

You are not eligible to participate in this research study if you:

  • Received prior chemotherapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy, or radiotherapy for your renal cell cancer
  • Are using immunosuppressive drugs
  • Have current malignancies at other sites or previous other cancer within the last 5 years
  • Have known distant metastases
  • Have an active, uncontrolled infection or other serious medical illness that requires hospitalization
