Trial Information

Summary: Cary Cardiology in Cary, NC is conducting a research study to compare the long-term effectiveness and safety of a medication for the treatment of Intermittent Claudication.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are at least 17 years of age
  • Have lower extremity pain, aching, or fatigue while walking or during other physical activity that stops when you rest
  • Have peripheral arterial disease or PAD as diagnosed by a physician
  • Are currently treating your PAD with Plavix

If eligible, you will receive free study-related:

  • Physical Examinations
  • Office Visits
  • Electrocardiogram
  • Study Medication
