Summary: Leg Pain and Diabetes
Do you have leg pain while exercising but it subsides at rest?
You may be eligible to participate in a clinical trial.
Apex Research Institute is performing an 11-month research study
evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an experimental
medication on claudication (leg pain) in diabetic patients.
Qualified Participants must:
- Be 40-80 years of age
- Have intermittent claudication (leg pain during exercise,
relief while at rest)
- Have Type 2 Diabetes
All participants will receive, at no cost, study medication,
treadmill testing, lab work, EKG, physical exams by board-certified
physicians, specific vascular exams and Peripheral Neuropathy
exams.
