Summary: Study # 200415. A Double-Blind, Randomized Study To Evaluate The Safety And Efficacy Of An Investigational Generic Form Of Ammonium Lactate Cream,12% VS. Lac-Hydrin 12% Cream(already on market) In The Treatement Of Adults With Moderate To Severe Ichthyosis Vulgaris.
Ichthyosis Vulgaris is a skin condition characterized by rough,
thick, scaly extra dry skin. Healthy males or females at least 18
years of age with a DIAGNOSIS of moderate to severe Ichthyosis
Vulgaris on BOTH LOWER LEGS are invited to participate in this
Research Study. The duration of the study is approximately 6 weeks.
All study related tests and proceedures will be provided at not
extra cost. We are conveniently located in the county off of major
highways and streets with ample free parking. Participants will
also be monatarily compensated for their time and travel.
Any person who has a history of alcohol and /or drug ABUSE
within the past 12 months will not be eligible. Females of child
bearing potential will agree to use a medically acceptable form of
contraception during the study.
