Trial Information

Summary: New drug research study open to migraine and persistent headache sufferers

As a service to headache sufferers, NHF is distributing information about a drug research study taking place in many areas of the country. This drug is being conducted by a major pharmaceutical company and is not one in which the National Headache Foundation has an active part. We believe this notice may be useful to headache sufferers who wish to inquire about participating.

Physicians conducting the study have begun testing an investigational drug to determine its safety and effectiveness for migraines and/or persistent headaches. To be eligible for this study, participants:

  • must be between the ages of 18 and 65 years,
  • must be diagnosed with migraines and/or persistent headaches,
  • must have a stable medical condition.
