Trial Information
Summary: Volunteers needed for Type 1 Diabetes study.
If you:
- are newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (within the last 6
weeks)
- are age 12 to 35
You may be able to participate in a research study for
newly-diagnosed Type 1 diabetics. This study will evaluate the
safety and effectiveness of a new research (or investigational)
medication for treating Type 1 diabetes.
Qualified participants will receive physical examinations,
laboratory testing, and study medications at no cost. Additionally,
qualified participants will be compensated for their time in the
amount of $25.00 to $150 per study visit, depending on the
procedures completed and time required for each visit.

Simmons, M.D., at the Central Arkansas Veterans HealthCare System
at 4300 W. 7th Street, 111j/LR, Little Rock, AR 72205.
