Summary: Genetic study examining siblings of stroke patients - HIC #8953

A multi-center, NIH-funded observational study that will use clinical and genetic information collected in siblings concordant and discordant for ischemic stroke to look for common genes that increase the risk of ischemic stroke.

Eligible patients must be between 18 and 80 and have an ischemic stroke within the last 6 months and have at least one living sibling with a history of stroke.
