Summary: Do you suffer from Diabetes?

This trial is designed for generally healthy elderly diabetics who have not previously been treated with diabetes medications.

In order to participate, you must be able to answer "Yes" to all of the following:

• I am between age 70 and 90
• I have elevated blood sugar
• I have NEVER taken a diabetes medication
• I have NOT had a heart attack, heart surgery or a stroke in the last 6 months

If you answered yes to all of the above, you may be eligible to participate and receive:

• Compensation for time and travel
• 12 weeks of study related medical care
• A free glucose monitor
• A physical exam
• Lab work
