Summary: Diabetes Type 2 Genetic Study
Individuals with Diabetes Mellitus with a family history of
diabetes are being recruited to participate in a research
study.
Goals: To identify the genetic factors
predisposing individuals and families to develop diabetes.
Study: One visit (approx. one hour) to
Rockefeller University Hospital, New York City or to your private
physician or clinic.
- discussing and signing an informed consent
- family and medical history
- measurements-labs and vital signs
There will be NO COSTS to participants.
Benefits of participation include FREE education and lab
results.
