Summary: Hypertension Research StudySummit Research Network Announces Over 72 million Americans have high blood pressure, that’s 1 in 3 adults. High blood pressure is known as the "silent killer" because one third of those with high blood pressure don’t even know they have it. If you are overweight, stressed or get little exercise, you may be at risk for high blood pressure. High blood pressure increases your risk of diabetes, stroke or heart attack. That’s why it is so important to find out if you have high blood pressure and to get help for it. One option for you is a new research study. Summit Research Network is studying an investigational medication for high blood pressure that may help control this silent disease. If you qualify for this investigational medication research study, all office visits and study medication are provided at no cost to you.
