Type 2 Diabetes
The purpose of this research study is to examine the effectiveness of 2 different doses of an extended release investigational medication given by injection once a week. This is compared to a marketed daily oral medication compared to placebo when taken with metformin for treatment of Type II diabetes. If you are 18-75 years old, have Type 2 diabetes and are currently taking Glucophage® (metformin) you may be eligible to participate.
If you don't know your fasting blood sugar, or your A1C values, call us to consider being screened. We can give you some basic information about your values, and about this research study.
