Trial Information
Summary: Phase one study to evaluate the efficacy of Ambrisentan in the treatment and prevention of digital ulcers in patients with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma).
A 28 week study of investigating the efficacy of an oral medication in the treatment and prevention of digital ulcers.
Patient Inclusion Criteria:
- Aged 18 or older
- Have the diagnosis of scleroderma (limited or diffuse systemic sclerosis)
- Have at least one ulcer on the finger(s) at or near the tips that developed in the past 12 wekks
- Be in good general health
Patient Exclusion Criteria:
- Certain medications within the past 4 to 6 weeks
- Certain medical conditions
- History of Hepatitis B, C, or HIV infection
