Trial Information
Summary: Locally Advanced/Metastatic Urothelial Tract or Bladder Cancer - Adults
People with urothelial (urinary system) or bladder cancer are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by the North Shore University Hospital.
Patient Inclusion Criteria = You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have been diagnosed with urothelial tract or bladder cancer
Patient Exclusion Criteria = You may not participate in this study if you:
- Have been diagnosed with brain cancer
- Have prior history of either skin cancers, cancer of the cervix, or cancer cured by surgery, small field radiation or chemotherapy 5 years or more prior to randomization
- Have a history of inflammatory bowel disease or bowel obstruction
- Have known human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection requiring treatment or acquired immunodeficiency-syndrome (AIDS)-related illness
- Have any other active illness such as infections, heart disease, hypertension, diabetes or have had a heart attack, severe/unstable angina, coronary/peripheral artery bypass graft surgery, cardiovascular disease, or arrhythmias (grade 3-4) within 6 months
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
