Summary: COPD Research
If you are a current smoker or an ex-smoker you may be eligible for a research study testing an investigational drug for COPD. Symptoms of COPD can include shortness of breath, cough and increased sputum production. Qualified volunteers will receive study-related drug and testing at no cost and compensation of up to $1,330.00 for participation. This study involves 21 appointments over approximately 15 months.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Are age 40 to 75
- Are a current or ex-smoker
- Have a diagnosis of moderate to severe COPD
You will not be eligible to participate in this study if you meet the following criteria (other criteria may apply - please call for more information):
- Have had a COPD exacerbation requiring treatment within 4 weeks of dosing with study medication
- Have had lung reduction surgery
