Summary: Bi-Level Device for Hypertension in Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston seeks 20 to 75 year old males and females with high blood pressure (ranging from 135/85 to 160/100) and obstructive sleep apnea to participate in a research study investigating a new treatment for high blood pressure. The study involves using a breathing device every day at home for 8 weeks. You may continue to take your blood pressure medicines during the study. You will have your blood pressure measured for 24 hours every 4 weeks. You may receive up to $550.00 payment for participation.
