Summary: Men and Women age 18 and above with chronic low back pain needed for participation in a research study.

UVa Health System, seeks men and women ages 18 and above with chronic low back pain (pain for 2 or more weeks) for participation in a research study.

The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of an exercise program on a muscle in the abdomen of individuals with low back pain. Study involves taking images of a specific muscle in the abdomen using an ultra sound machine both before and after a 45 minute exercise intervention. The study involves 1 visit that will last no longer than 90 minutes.

No compensation is provided for this study.
