Trial Information

Summary: Adults with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Sought for a Research Study.

The University of Virginia Health System Cancer Center seeks adults with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for a research study.
The purpose of this research is to study an investigational medication called AME-133v and to see if the use of AME-133v is safe or effective. All participants in the study will receive AME-133v intravenously once for four weeks, and will have checkups in the UVA Cancer Clinic twice after the first infusion, then again 1 week and 5 weeks after the last infusion. Participants will then return to the clinic every 3 months, starting 9 weeks after the last infusion, as long as their lymphoma does not get worse and no other treatment for lymphoma has been started.
Participants will undergo the following tests before and during the study: questionnaires, physical exams, urine and blood tests, a pregnancy test if applicable, chest xrays, ECGs, MUGA scans, CAT or MRI scans, and bone marrow biopsies
The sponsor will pay for treatments and procedures related to the study. The participants insurance company will be billed for the costs of standard of care (or usual for treatment of your lymphoma) treatments, procedures, hospitalization, physician charges, and tests. Participants will be offered compensation for the cost of travel, parking, and meals for study visits. There will be no financial compensation for participating in this study.
