Summary: You did too much. You tried too hard. And now... SHOULDER PAIN

Doctors are evaluating investigational, medicated patches to see if they relieve pain when applied to the shoulder.

If you are experiencing shoulder pain that limits the range-of-motion in your shoulder, you could have tendonitis, bursitis, or a strain - all common causes of shoulder pain. Maybe your injury is the result of overuse, or maybe a particular event or strenous activity caused the injury.

Most of us try to control the pain with an over-the -counter painkiller or even a home remedy, with limited success. Now, you may want to consider investigational treatment for shoulder pain that is currently being evaluated in a clinical research study. Local doctors are evaluating the effectiveness and saety of investigational, medicated patches that are applied to the shoulder for treating shoulder pain.

Qualified participants will receive study-related medical evaluations and study patches at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel may also be provided.

To be eligible for participation in this study, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older, AND
• Be experiencing shoulder pain that's occured within the last seven days, AND
• Not have had a previous shoulder injury
