Trial Information

Summary: Do you have a painful ankle sprain affecting your daily activities?

The ankle joint, which connects the foot with the lower leg, is injured often. An unnatural twisting motion can happen when the foot is planted awkwardly, when the ground is uneven, or when an unusual amount of force is applied to the joint. Such injuries happen during athletic events, while running or walking, or even during everyday activities such as getting out of bed. Ankle injuries can be painful and can make it difficult to carry out daily activities.

HOPE Research Institute is currently enrolling adults who recently suffered from an ankle sprain to participate in a clinical research study evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational patch for the relief of pain associated with ankle sprains. This study is being conducted in Phoenix, Arizona.

Qualified study participants may receive study supervision by a board-certified physician, study-related tests and exams, as well as study medication at no charge. Also, qualified participants will receive compensation for their time and travel.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Are you 18 to 75 years of age?
  • Did you suffer from a painful ankle sprain within the last 1-2 days?
