Trial Information
Summary: Adult Patients with Major Depressive Disorder
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy (how well the drug works) and safety (the side effects) of an experimental drug compared to placebo (no active medication) in subjects with depression.
Study drug and study procedures will be made available to you at no cost.
To qualify, you must:
- Be at least 18 to 65 years old
- Be diagnosed with MDD Major Depressive Disorder
You will not qualify if you:
- Are pregnant or breast-feeding
- Have schizophrenia or any other psychotic disorder
- Have obsessive compulsive disorder
- Have a history of mental retardation, delirium, dementia, amnesia, and any other cognitive disorders
- History of seizures (including seizure disorder), stroke, significant head injury, central nervous system tumors, or any other condition that predisposes patients to a risk for seizure
- Have participated in a clinical drug or device trial within the last 3 months
