Summary: Is Chronic Low Back Pain following you everywhere?

If your current prescription pain medication is not providing relief from chronic low back pain, please consider this research study of an investigational once-a-day pain medication.

Study participation will last about 16 weeks and involves approximately 17 office visits.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

• Men and Women ages 18 - 75
• Documented diagnosis of moderate to severe chronic low back pain
• Patients who require daily scheduled opioid analgesics for low back pain for at least 2 months prior to the screening visit.

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

• Patients who have undergone a surgical procedure for back pain within 6 months prior to screening.
• Patients with any other chronic pain condition
